A small delegation of Lusda members had the opportunity to visit Taipei’s Representative Office in Italy, having the chance to speak and engage in insightful discussions with Ambassador Y. C. Tsai.

Ambassador Tsai discussed the development of relations between Italy and Taipei in recent years, demonstrating the strength and potential of economic cooperation between the two countries.

We discussed Taiwan’s position in the international community with a special focus on the constant pressure and threats perpetrated by the PRC.

Finally, we exchanged views on Taiwan’s position in relation to major international crises, such as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, where Taiwan has been engaged since the beginning in providing humanitarian and economic support to Ukraine.
