Matilde Sardo

Strategy and Development Officer

Italo-Canadian student, enrolled in the first year of the Master of International Relations.

Being extremely curious and having grown up in an English-speaking environment, I have always been prone to exploring unknown places, building international networks, deepening new cultures. This aptitude has later expanded to international affairs, global matters, and political issues, interests that have motivated my choice of field of study.

Pushed by my curiosity and my desire for change, I spent my second year of Bachelor’s in Tours, France, where I further developed my skills related to adaptability, reliance, responsibility, and independence. Furthermore, this experience enabled me to expand the capability to engage and work in heterogeneous and international teams.

On a personal level I am determined, responsible, capable of effective time- and project-management. I tend to challenge myself by detaching from my comfort zone. Moreover, being a dynamic spirit, I love to practice sports — running, tennis, and volleyball. I also read a lot — about history, geopolitics, and novels.
